Our master drummers will introduce participants to rhythms from across the immense African ‘drum continent’ not to mention a variety of novel and exotic instruments. They will learn about the widespread use of drums to mark significant life events in Africa, such as births, deaths and marriage, broadening their knowledge about the customs and practices of other cultures.
As always, our African drumming workshops are fully interactive, and participants will soon be marking the beat with a traditional West African drum.
